- 20mm margin before text begins
- Needs to allow space for addressee, salutation, date, topic, etc.
- Info @ top: Company logo, company title, address, email, telephone number, fax, web address
- Info @ bottom: Company registered name and number, person responsible for company (Director)
- 9/10pt type (for contact info, etc.)
Business Card:
- 55mm x 85mm
- Same as credit card: fits in peoples' wallets
- Name of person who gave the card and contact info
- 7/8pt type
Compliment Slip:
- Logo, contact info and company name
- 'With Compliments'
- 9/10pt type
- Scaling very important: scale elements to suit document, remain consistent
(e.g: don't have the logo taking up the whole business card and then have it tiny on the letterhead)
- Don't try to cram too much in
- Research good AND bad examples of stationary design
