A few of the colour combinations that I experimented with (also put onto dark background to see if they were visible):
- Felt that these blues were too dull and predictable, not vibrant enough for inner city transport
- I decided to try the magenta simply because it was bright and noticable
- I also tried an orange which was just as bold, but it tied in to the boat theme as I drew inspiration from the orange of a life-ring
After annotating and being critical about the colour choices I decided on this outcome:
- Try in different sizes to check that no detail is lost when scaled down
- Find suitable typeface for company logo to be put underneath/next to
