Signage:
- Should be visible from all angles to maximise custom - some signage was only visible from limited viewpoints.
- Should give all possible info: map, timetable, next ferry due at:..., name of service.
- Bristol Ferry Company signs: '250m this way'
- Posters advertising deals, in association with local traders (Ferry Station Bar)
Liveries:
- Logo should work on both sides of boat, for example italics would only work one way, as on the other side of the boat they would be leaning the wrong way
- Why yellow? Because it stands out
- Roof of ferry had Brunel photograph on - visible from bridges
- Name of boat, web address, etc.
- Bow = front, Stern = back (of boat)
Look at collected timetables and maps: not just ferry ones
Want to fit in with Harbourside atmosphere:

- Family atmosphere
- Nightlife & Pubs
- Graffiti & Industrial area (Bristol heritage - Brunel)
