- Higher level of study expected as is a 30 credit module (as opposed to SP1 being 20 credits)
- 'Deep' research - look at a wider range of research materials: books, internet, AV material
- Studio journal: reference work of others/my own work by scanning in images, documents, ideas, etc. - make more visual: help illustrate what I am talking about/my ideas (also told this on Assessment Feedback Form)
Series of three 2-week workshops, followed by final project (8 weeks incl. Easter break)
Introduction to InDesign
Vector package which acts as the place where everything is 'pasted down' (text, illustration, image; from Photoshop/Illustrator, etc) and arranged, ready for printing.
Similar 'basic' tools as seen in Photoshop/Illustrator.
Place objects from files: Rectangle frame tool > File > Place > Choose file
Object may then need to be cropped/resized.
cmd + alt + shift: make an object smaller/larger in proportion
Asked to recreate STA Travel flyer using marker rough guidelines and elements found in 'Groups' folder.
