FINAL IDEAS FOR POSTCARD DESIGNS
*Map: collaged sections (or jumbled collage, blending, no clear dividing lines) of abstracted river shape - shows all the different elements of the harbourside and where they are in relation to bends in the river, like a map
*Sense of Place: grid encompassing details and images personal to the docks, making it unique (photos taken of details, signage, local identity, pattern, history & decay) - include 'ship shape & bristol fashion' sense of history
*Journey: photos of different times of day (sliced vertically, & chronologically in the order I visited them), quotes layered on top - showing journey through time, & the journeys the public take around the harbourside
*Accidental Alphabet: Use quote 'ship shape & BRISTOL fashion' having bristol in my found alphabet photographs. Incorporate image that does not draw away from the letters, but that adds a link to the harbourside.
